that turns a stomach to knots
with new wandering what-nots.
A Child like this…
flips upside down words
into backing talkwards.
Is it three seconds or two thirds…?
or sixty mockingbirds…?
A Boy like this…
fights to catch up to today
finding all 365 ways
for tomorrow to be yesterday
And….
A Son like this…
comes with a heart made of gold
and courage to behold,
No matter what he’s told.
shows kindness ten-fold.
